HI Guys (and Gals),I`ve begun to wonder is it just me ?,i`ve gotten hold of two Revell 1/32 kits recently and BOTH have had their canopy sprues missing !!.
So i`m throwing my hat into the ring by asking IS IT JUST ME ? or has Revell`s quality control gone completely down the crapper.
To be fair they were both older kits (the JU87B and AH-1G) but can the missing out of complete sprues be really be excused.
COME ON REVELL,SORT IT OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just spoken to the manager of my LHS (as she is the mother in law to be) and they have had a few people coming back into the shop complaining that their clear sprue is missing from the Revell kit they bought . So in answer to your question yes Revell's quality control is pretty c**p.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just to update you guys and gals on this saga,i e-mailed Revell`s customer service department to request info on how to get a replacement over a month ago and have heard NOTHING !!.
Thanks for nothing Revell, customer care seems to go hand in hand with quality control so in future i`ll vote with my feet and buy other manufacturer`s kits and i urge other modellers to do the same until they sort things out.

It's simple : you are cursed!
Honestly I have had very good results with Revells customer service. What did you write them? Did you give your address? Normally they do not write back but just send the parts.
You must understand that Revell is a small "booth" and lost parts service are just 2 women. And we have holidays now .. so maybe wait just a lttle longer or ask whats up.
greets
Steffen

Hi there
Two people voicing similar complaints sounds like it could have been a bad run, bad day, bad week... for Revell. C*ck-ups happen to the best of us, but it needs sorting. Bear in mind what Steffen says about the number of people at Revell who have to deal with complaints, but on something like this there should be no argument - you'll get your missing parts - I've always had great aftersales service from Revell.
Let us know if you have further problems.

Hi Guys,I tried again as suggested.Bless their hearts, they did reply this time but to no avail as the kit has been OOP for too long.So i what i`m going to try is grafting a canopy from a 21st century toys kit to the Revell beastie as the later is a better kit (despite the millions of rivets).Although having said that i watched a dvd recently and that said that this was actually true for the real thing !!
