Yesterday finished this Red Tail build and am very pleased with the result. It's a 1/72 Academy kit completed with a Tamiya NMF rattle-can and a lot of brush-painting. (sorry for photo quality but camera on last legs.........)
The model built and primed:
The Tamiya rattle-can was a joy to work with and this is the sprayed model with its red tail hand-painted. I chose to use a matt red to depict a M.T.O. sun-weathered finish.
Enjoyed working on the cockpit; the seat belts were made from Tamiya tape.
Completed model!
