Really nice Terri !
Just a suggestion, taking in consideration the light colored fuselage use pastels chalks for the weathering.
Do you have pictures of the cockpit?
Cheers,

Great pics. You should post pics more often. You really have a nice build going on there.
I have a few of those kits in the stash. I showed my wife your pictures, and talked her into trying to build one.
Been after her for years to try, and your pictures might be the motivation she needs. Thumbs up.

Lars , Thank-you for your kind words . I still learning my camera and computer so I will get the hang of it sooner our later .
Rick , I'm glad you like them , more pic's of the finished air frame will come in a few days .
Carl , It was your words a few days ago on a different post that I would try this up loading thing spent some time and was almost in tears because I couldn't get it . ( Thanks again Stephen and Jim ) who came to my aid .
That's great that your wife will be doing a build , maybe she would like to sign up for the ladies campaign . It's open to all from beginners to advace and any subject . Let me what she thinks

Hi,
Nice looking Albatros. Be sure to post up some pics after weathering as I'd like to see how it goes. And I agree from the pics the cockpit varnished wood finish looks great, I kinda struggling with getting that effect correct at the moment.
cheers
Brent

Thanks Brent , doing the wood effect is rather easy . Practise, practise and practise . For the longest time I to had to struggle with wood grain . The more I did it the easier it was .
This is how I did my : I first sprayed flesh as my base colour letting this dry for a few days then I dry brushed red brown . after this dried I used clear orange mix with a little thinner . This was brushed on . once this had a chance to set over night I used a light shade of brown for high lights . All frame work was then painted with old wood . to seal all of this it was clear coat with orange again . A light wash was then applied . You can use many different shades of yellows , browns , tans . It does help to have photo's of the type of wood you are creating . Take a look at others excellent wood gain and ask questions it's the best resource we have .

Thank-you Dimitris for your kind words . I glad that you guys are liking my work . Not as good as some of you guys , but I'm catching up ! Every kit I do I keep getting better and better . A big part comes from the fine members here on KitMaker from sharing their tips and teck.....I think of this as ... Everything you wanted to know about model building but were afraid to ask ! Questions are the best resource we have .
