I was thinking about a campaign in honor of the first real battle of US troops in Vietnam in November of 1965. All aircraft, jeeps, trucks apc's and helos would be included in the campaign. there could be two classes, Americans, South Korean, Australian and the other class would be N.V.A/VietCong. Please give me feedback.

Not sure if there would be much interest in this as we only finished a Vietnam Campaign this time last year

Vietnam War Campaign

Cheers

I would not mind doing a T-28 for the now defunct South Viet Namese airforce.

Well, the last one was before my time on this site. I, for one, would be interested.

Make sure the tank and figure guys know about this. Maybe the swabbies could make something from the Gulf of Tonkin. That might get some interest going.

The Tamiya Pibber could perk the interest in folks. Also, the old Monogram 1/48 RAG Boat, Swift Boat and (if anyone else has one) Vietnam Coastal Junk would be alot of fun, too!

And then there's even the Aurora's TUCUMCARI (PGH-2)

Seth, if it weren't for these campaigns, I would never be able to decide what to build. See a campaign, figure out what I have that will fit it. There can never be enough campaigns.

Anyone happen to notice this Campaign is scheduled to run for only 1 month Seems kind of short for a Total War

Whooah!

I was the first to enlist for this Campaign!

Time is way too short, Campaigns usually run for 4-6 months.

Don´t know what to build yet, but I have lots of intersting stuff in the stash!
There´s always Phantoms you know...

I agree with you Carl, Campaigns peaks my interest, keeps me focused on the build, and helps me to get it finished!
Not to mention how fun it is to build around a theme, together with my friends here.
Cheers!

I was the second enlistee. But the short duration will make participation difficult. Seth, You might want to extend the end date about 3-4 months.

even 4 months is pretty short. 5 or 6 is standard, and some go as long as a year...

I would but as I only did the Vietnam campaign last year Im going to duck out of this one. That and Ive got some stuff lined up for the two magazines I write for and due to deadlines all my spare time goes into building kits for them.
