I bought this kit cheap off of ebay quite a few months back. This last week or so I've begun the build and am quite surprised with how bad the quality is to be honest.
There is loads of flash and doing a test fit I can see the seams are going to need a lot of hard work. Anyway, if I'm going to the job I might aswell do it properly, therefore, has anyone got any colour photos of the interior of a P-61, even an accurate model someone has built.?

Also any references for this kit, in the form of kits built buy others, would be gratefully appreciated.

Chocks away!

I built this one many years ago

The fit is/was terrible, especially the "tail cone" area of the fuselage, required a good deal of filler to make the rear glazing fit. I have another in the "stash" that will be built as a "Reporter", someday.

If you look closely, well you don't have to look too closely, you'll see I didn't get the forward glazing to fit properly either.

Thanks. Yours came out okay, Chuck.

It's a shame the canopy didn't fit better though:( I won't buy anymore Airfix and none left in my stash either.
