No Puma or Merlin in 1/35 Scale to my knowledge. Trump got the Chinook and Accurate Armour got some Lynx choppers in resin. Not sure what decals the Chinook comes with.

The Trumpeter Chinook does not come w/British decals. There is a 1/32 SA 320 PUMA though. There are a couple versions from Revell/Monogram. It is a pretty nice kit. I'm not sure if it is still in production, it comes and goes, but it is found quite often on eBay.

Good luck.

You could probably do a 1:32 Puma, the ex-Matchbox, now Revell model.
Revell also did a Bell 47G in 1:35 if you can find one. The Brits used these.
But I think that's about it. No large-scale Merlins or Wessex or Scouts or Whirlwinds or SeaKings....

Anthony,
If you’re not dead set on 1/35th you can go to 1/48th. There are some nice ones out. Don’t let the scale put you off, they are BIG. Also there’s plenty of aftermarket PE, Resin and decal sets out. Italeri released a 1/48th Chinook with British markings and the Hasegawa Sea King can still be bought.

Just some ideas.

Hi guys
Sorry to hijack the thread but if I were to print my own decals would it be possible to use the Trumpeter chinook as an RAF chinook from any era or is to too 'Americanised'??, Id most like to use it as on of the ones in Afghan. Thanks, Nick

The Trump CH-47D is close to a British model. I believe the rotor blades may be different on the Brit helos though. They have lots of different antenni, bumps, and bulges too. It is a good starting place though.
