Hi guys,
I made the mistake of buying the Revell 1/48 F4U-4 Corsair thinking it was a boxing of the Academy kits. However, the kit inside is barely a toy (engine molded inside cowling, a toy wing-fold mechanism and completely laughable landing gear), so I decided to build a crashed Corsair right after a belly landing on a Pacific beach.
Are there any photos/resources (other models etc.) I can find online or anywhere else that show crashed Corsairs? I am curious to see how various surfaces and parts look/behaved after the crash...
Thanks in advance.

Any pictures of a crashed F4U Corsair?

"Baa Baa Blacksheep" by Gregory Boyington, one of the "blacksheep" went down on an island, and skidded into a tree (unfortunately the pilot was KIA), that would make a fitting memmorial, no pics though
