Greetings Everyone,

Normally being an AFV modeller, I need help concerning an aircraft. A friend of mine likes the B-2 a lot and I want to make a surprise by building Revell's 1/144 B-2 as a birthday gift.

What I cannot make sure is the color of the aircraft. I think it is FS36118 Gunship Grey. Revell instructs to use Revell No.77 "Bazalt Grey", which I do not have.

Now, a cross-reference chart shows that I can use Humbrol's No.79 Blue-Grey instead of Revell's 77. However, is that the true color for this bird? If not, what is it among Humbrol-Tamiya-Model Master or Gunze? (I have only these brands available in Turkey)

Help will be much appreciated!

Well the aircraft is a bluish gray. I'd say that is a good match. Original aircraft was painted with Sherwin-Williams house paint, bought at the local hardware store

Hi Buddy,I seem to remember doing my 1/72 scale one in Humbrol No. 27 (sea Grey) and No. 33 (matt black). At the time they seemed to be about the right colours to match all the pictures i`d seen.As far as i know it`s on display at our local aviation musuem whom i donated it to.
