Hi,
I'm building eduard's Sopwith F.1 Camel. The instructions call for clear doped linen and give humbrol and gunze paint numbers. I would prefer tamiya if possible. Does anyone have a good/favorite mix for clear doped linen using tamiya paints?
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob,
I use Tamiya Deck Tan and White (acrylics) in various proportions for Bleached Linnen on German Aircraft.
That would also be suitable for a factory fresh Camel. You might want to dirty it up a tad with some desert yellow mixed in.
Below are some shots of the underside of the Upper Main plane of the Avro 504 restoration at the RAAF Museum at Point Cook (Near Melbourne).
Cheers,
Hugh
