Here are some pictures of Nigel Julian's (lampie) fantastic P-47M model finished in the colourful camouflage of the 56th FG. What better way to celebrate the success of the P-47 SIG thread.

Nigel you have an excellent build with this effort. She maybe an "ugly duckling" but she is a beauty. Nicely Done!

A lovely edit job Jean-Luc, thankyou
Stephen, knowing how rarely you comment on non WWI material I'll take that as a high compliment indeed.

Congratulations on another successful build. I have a feeling this isn't your last P-47. But so far I think it's my favorite.

Yet another Nigel Great. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Did Stephen wander into the wrong office again?

Thanks guys.
Matt,,its my favourite P47 so far as well. The colourful camo scheme realy makes it stand out.
My next one?,,well, its at the wash stage already. Its nothing out of the ordinary as regards the paint scheme etc, but it will be a nice surprise for the person its being gifted to on completion.
