Hi All,
Anyone know where I might be able to get hold of some "Danger Propeller" warning strips in 1:72 ?
All the best,
Kristian.

Hi Kristian,
Do you mean the red stripes that are painted on the fuselage to worn ground personnel of the proximity of the propellers? Or stripes applied to the propellers themselves?
If you mean the former then you can buy decal sheets with differing width stripes on them, or a sheet of solid colour and you can cut the stripes to the correct width. Alternatively you can buy clear decal paper and paint a section the colour that you require, then cut to the correct width. Another method would be to mask and paint the tripes onto the model. To do this first of all cut a length of masking tape to the correct width, then position this piece on the model, where the actual stripe would go. Now cut 2 more pices and lay one on either side of the first, making sure that they are touching and accurately lined up. Mask away from these 2 pieces, covering as much of the rest of the model as necessary. Now remove the first piece of tape and paint.
If the stripe are for the propellor then much the same as above can be used but the area to be covered is much smaller. If you want to paint the tip of the propellor blade then cut a piece of tape the scale width of the painted tip (4" in 1/72 = 1.41mm) lay that on the tip then apply a piece of tape arond the blade, using the first piece as a guide. This assumes that you are painting the tip last.
