Hi all.
Could anyone please help?

I would like to know the camo colours for FAM fighters 1944/45/46 for example a Seafire or Seafang.

I think 1946 would have been all sky undersides and fuselage sides with Extra Dark Sea Grey upper surfaces? But what were the full camo pattern colours before that?

Many many thanks.
Peter

Hi Peter

Prior to having Sky fuselage sides, postwar FAA fighters had Extra Dark Sea Grey topsurfaces extending down the fuselage sides.

All the best

Hi again Peter

Dark Slate Grey / Extra Dark Sea Grey camouflaged upper-surfaces were still in use at the end of the war on Seafires, Fireflys and many other types, that would probably still hold good for "paper projects" of the period.

All the best
