This is a picture of a kit I completed a couple of years ago. What is new is the base. I have started making bases for many of my models and I think it adds something to it.
This base, represents Muroc dry lake, in 1946 and is made of plywood painted black and white glue holding on some fine buff railroad ballast. It resembles a desert I think. Hope you like it. Russell

P.S. I added a scratch made pitot tube which is visible over the co-pilots window on the leading edge of the wing. Just a bit more accuracy for me.
