I'm building the Acadamy/MRC AH-1W/NTS snake for the British Bulldogs 'Poles apart' theme build for the 2008 Telford nationals.
Problem I have is that the kits cockpit panels have no dial detail or decals but I don't want to use the Eduard interior set can any of you offer any suggestions for doing the dials?

So far

There are a few options for instrument panels. You can put small white ticks and lines to replicate instrument faces. You can get generic dials and instruments from Archer Fine Transfers. You can cut dials/instrument faces off other decal sheets and put them on individually too. With all of the above, pick out knobs and buttons with dark gray and drybrush the whole thing to bring up details. Lastly, put a drop of gloss in each instrument to seal the decals and replicate the glass. You can also drill out each one and use a printed dial placed behind it with clear plastic sandwiched between them for the glass.

Good luck.

Thanks Gino, I forgot to say that this is not my normal scale, but will not be the last as so far I've enjoyed doing this huge (for me) subject.

I think for the next one I may get the Eduard interior set

Just thought I'd show the cockpit after a bit of free hand painting on the dials.
