I was just over at HS forum where Jonathan Strickland made a comparison with the Tamiya Vb kit.

I have read "somewhere" that the Hasegawa kit is the better one shape wise with the Airfix beeing the best .. but what do I know...

My kit is in the post, so I hope to get my greedy mitts on it next week. I'm not sure about Jonathon's comment about it being a bit expensive - both the UK and European prices which I've seen quoted in various on-line shops seem fair enough for a new-tool kit that includes etched parts. But, of course, such things are very subjective.

Totally agree. 23 Euro is pretty cheap nowadays. But then again there is the European perspective and overseas

I second that too. I think it's quite a bargain, as Special Hobby's 1:48 kits are usually around 30€.

Does the "semi-limited run" nature of the kit mean that it's a modified Tamiya spit?

I wonder what are the chances that it's the same kit with different decals and a new price tag?

This is tool sharing for sure see also Breda 20 where it was clearly stated. .... as written above the price is a matter of perspective ... from the American point of view the CA release will probably be cheaper.
