Hello all I need HELP to find detailed information for the Stakhanovets Gliders.
This RC Groups Forum thread is where I have begun, but there seem to be several variations and different aircraft.

Good site, but again "mixed" information.

I think there was a plastic kit avail. some years ago... so there simply MUST be good historical and photo. documentation somewhere.

Actually, any good information concerning Soviet era gliders (especially the troop/cargo types and mission histories). Oh heck, let us just be honest: we really are a sucker for military glider history of ANY country and the personnel who flew them.
Thank you for your help in advance.

I do have:
Gerard M. Devlin "Paratrooper" and "Silent Wings"
James E. Mrazek "Fighting Gliders of WW II" and "The Glider War"
Alan Lloyd "The Gliders"
and several others mostly British.
Always looking for Eastern European, Russian, South East Asian, Japanese, Canadian stories and books.
