Hi,
Does anyone have any tips on making the seat belts and harnesses for the ACES II ejection seat for the F-22 Raptor? I've just spent a very frustrating hour chasing tiny pieces of PE around my board attempting to fix them with Zap CA.
Please help before I go insane !
Dave

Dave,
Try the foil tape used to seal AC ductwork, etc. Its very very flexible and cuts nicely with a sharp blade. Works like a charm. Then you can bend it in any possible way without much effort.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi
what I meant was, do you know of any good techniques for holding the tiny pieces of photo etch which comes with the seat while i glue them in place.
Mind you, I may be using duct tape if i can't use the PE, which is a shame since its nicely detailed.
Sorry for any confusion

I use tiny strips of post-it notes to hold PE in place. The "stickum" is more than adequate for such small stuff and the paper "handle" makes it pretty easy to position the pieces, You just have to be careful not to put too much CA on the PE part -- you don't want it oozing onto the post-it paper.
YMMV.
