Aeroscale is very happy to present the work of Jérôme Engel (son-altesse), an enthusiastic Luftwaffe 1946 model builder. Here is Part 1 of his collection and I think many others will follow...

wow, that is quite a collection.

I guess if you are going to do luftwaffe '46, you might as well do it right!

Hello everyboby,

First i want to thank you for all your nice answers and make some apologizre for my poor english...i´m French (nobody ´s perfect!), work in Germany and think in German when i have to write in English, i need quickly a second brain.

A special thank to Jean Luc who has introduced me (no joke please!) in this nice forum.

Another extra thank to Flitzer who have give me inspiration with all his marvellous work for all my models.

I just want to dedicace to him the last model i build ...

Have a nice days.

Wow.
Jerome I am honoured.
The Victoria Tail Fw is one of my favourites and a rare kit too.
You have done a fantastic job on the camo.
Hell of a lot of masking, even when I was drawing the profile , but to do it for real must have taken hours and hours!

Many many thanks.

Peter

Yes Peter, le FW Victoria Tail is one of my favorite design too.

Masking is perhaps longer but people like me ,with no specific airbrush ´s talent can do something "acceptable" !

It is the Cape Hobby kit, molded by Anigrand a think. After all Unicraft, AV Model and Planet´s kits, one of the best resin a have seeing !

I live in Germany now, between Bremen , Hamburg and Luneburg....than mean in our strange Luft46 ´s world, between Fock Wulf, Blohm und Voss and Sänger

I build currently , with difficulty, the small project P14 of Skoda-Kauda

Hi Jerome
I love the colour pics, its very satisfying for me to see the schemes turn out so well. But that's down to your hard work and skill.
I'd love to see more colour examples of your work please.

It gives me much encouragement to do more.....many more .

A British set next, then another German volume.

Many thanks and very best regards
Peter

Hello Guys

As I have stated several Times I am no fan of Luftwaffe 46 .. but I am a big fan of German language.

First things first: very nice Models. Jérôme!!! Also like that you think in German to write English

but as you both ( Jérôme & J-L) speak German what does this darn "Luft 46" crap mean .... it bears a certain irony as it is nothing (or only slightly) more that air but the German Airforce was (and is) named Luftwaffe which can be abbreviated LW or Lw soo pleeeeeeeeeease do NOT use this Air46 stuff ... bitte!

greetings from Ettlingen

Steffen

Another great model, Jerome! Looks excellent in colour.

Peter, I know I have mentioned this before, but maybe it could be an idea to make one big PDF file with all your work. Fx. one file for the German stuff, one for the British stuff, one for Japanese etc.

I really want to make unusual camouflage, markings etc. for my fictional luftwaffe '46 fighters, bombers......
Your work is very inspiring when it comes to Luftwaffe '46 models.

Looking forward to see the next batch of profiles.

Thank again Peter, i will continue to post more colour example on this post.... but just for one reason : to push you to continue your nice work with profile (your models are very nice too)

Vielen Dank Stephen, i ´m agree with you tu use the real term but i a affraid that it´s to late now...this wrong term (luft46) is used since a long time to definised this part of our modelling hobby and it will hard now to make some internet research for exemple with LW46 !!!
But i totally understand your reaction

One little one more to have more colour in our grey world

Hello,

Has you decide, the next one will be the BV222 Zwilling.

I have a very strange modelling curse, i have always buy some huge Revell kit twice
(bv222, Ju390, BV194,BV138, Do335 )
On a other side, i pay for that the same price that for a rare, small, resin kit of Planet or Unicraft

It was a funny kit to build, don´t forget if you want to buy one to insert some long piece of aluminium for example throw all the wing to improve the solidity

Wing are removable, it´s easy ,when a decide to live in my living room !!!!!

I have put some red light (no Roxanne ) with battery inside but it´s hard to see on the picture.
