Interesting release.

I am wondering about the motivation for the Uhu set - is there an issue with the tamiya orginals? I hadn't heard about that.

Hi Vance

yes, the shape is slightly off (it is not a big fat flaw, but noticable .. as is the wrong shape of the nose). I am not sure if the new SBS spinner is right .. I have another set which has a different shape and I know that guy is pretty an#l about that stuff ..

cheers

Hi Guys,

The UHU had minimum 3 types of spinner, and 3 or 4 types of blade. (in almost every configuration.)
SBS Model made 2 sets with the same blades but with 2 different type of spinners. (set 48001 and 48005)

Regards

Hello Csaba

many thanks for the Information! (I was referring to 48001 in my post above)

I did not know you have several sets already. I recently looked at your site and there was not much new, but I just looked again and you have a pretty program now! The 109 Prop looks good!

Will your Il-2 Prop have a corrected spinner? I was made aware by Sergey Kosatchov that the plastic part is not correct. Sadly I did not find the Vector/NeOmega replacement he advised .. so if you make a correction I can stop looking

all the best

Steffen

Hi Steffen,

The Il-2 will have a new spinner and blades as well. A member of SBS is working on it (i think it will be released about november)
Next will be the revised He-111 VS-11 set, i'm going to put up pictures next week, and then the Mig-3 Prop set for Trumpeter kit.

regards
Csaba
