I start this little bird a while back and came across some errors in the instructions .
The PE parts are number wrong in the instruction sheet ......
Pe part # 1 says that this is the seat , the seat is number 5 on the fret and 1 is the large instrument .
PE part 9 is not the foot straps it's part # is 12 , pe #9 is windscreen frame .
PE part 8 is not the right side frame it's part number is 23 , part 8 is window frame option .
PE part 21is not the small instruments but the cross member , small instruments are #2
PE part 7 is not the cross member but another window frame option .
PE part 20 is not the large instrument it's part number is 1 , part 20 is the other part of the throttle .
PE part 28 , there is no part for this . It's listed as the left side frame which is part number 22
PE part 23 is not the throttle it's part number is 15
PE parts 26 and 25 listed as set belts , their part number is 3 and 4
PE part # 2 is not part of gun it's # is 6
PE part 27 is part 10
PE part 11 is right
Pe part 4 is not the gun mount , it's part # is 17
PE part 17 listed is not the head rest , it's part # 14
PE part 5 is not the push rods , it's part number 18
PE part 22 is not the mirror , it's part # 19
PE part 19 prop hub is part # 13
The floor will not fit with the PE frames in place , I had to sand the bottom of it until it would fit right . So I hope that this helps out even if it seems to be confusing , like it did to me when typing this out . more to come ......

Thanks Stephen . It was well over a month ago when I started painting the smaller parts . Figuring that it's time to finish this one while I wait for the lozenge to come in the mail for my Fokker D.VII . Out comes the glue and it was "what the @ell " I've had this occurred with Eduard before but nothing like this . So I do hope that this helps out other modelers .
I did replace the control column as well for the kit one is way over sized with better rod .
So far the fuselage halves are glued along with the lower wing and tailplane in place .
No other fit problems so far . no gaps to fill . My biggest hurdle is coming up with the turnbuckles ! Jimmmr ( jim) had a really great tip of using his wife's hair for this scale . and I seem to have an endless supply of this . It's a matter if I can get the Q-tip to do what I want it to do ! I do find what we use for rigging in 48 scale to be to big . Doesn't have that scale effect . Will have some pic's up soon .........................

Mike , I'm glad you found this to helpful .
I'm working on the engine right now , to be honest I really don't care for the flat pushrods .
Even that they won't be visible on the finihed model , they will be replaced with rod .

Okay I worked out on how to do my turnbuckles in this scale .
I use the Q-tip method pulled smaller then I would for 48 scale and instead of using invisible thread , my hair is perfect for it . Very fine , blond and silky smooooooth !
(sorry Lars no nail polish remover involved )
I did have to get a third hand with magnifier to see what I'm doing . So here is how I did it .
Heat the Q-tip like you would for strength spruce , pull it finer then normal . cut small pieces about 1.5mm in length . open each end with a fine sewing needle . thread hair through .
Anchoring mounts are made using the twist hoop wire method .
Now my hair is not for sale , I have a very deep relationship with it .

Hit another sage in the build . The cowling will not fit over the engine with the PE parts and the exhaust pipes are to long so I didn't end up using the PE push rods or replacing them with rod , can't be seen any way . and the exhaust pipes where trimmed down in order for every thing to fit . The cowl does fit perfectly with no trimming or filing .

Paint will hit the airframe today . Not sure on the makings , was thinking of doing a captured aircraft by the Germans with skull and crossbones on the rudder .
