I joined the Aces High campaign, and thought I would share my build progress. I am using Eduard's 1/72 Albatros D.V/Va kit, and will be painting it up as a Jasta 15 plane (Oliver Freiherr von Beaulieu-Marconnay, 1917).
Thus far I have cleaned the fuselage halves, and removed a molded on strap of some sort, from the area just beneath the undercarriage. No photo I found a D.V had them. I have also re-scribed the panel lines, and removed a few molding blemishes.
I plan to next tackle the interior. I need to scratch build some flooring and framing.... I will get some photos posted as a progress.

Thank you both.
I did make some progress tonight, but nothing photo-worthy at this point.
I created a rear bulkhead/firewall (for lack of the correct term) behind the pilot seat (there is no kit part, and there is a lot of empty space without it). I was going to build the rails on which the seat sits, but they absolutely cannot be seen if I were to do this, so I thinned the kit seat to proper scale thickness, and mounted it to the kit part. I added some Tom's Modelworks rudder pedals also...
I cleaned the upper wing, and re-positioned the ailerons, and also added the engine support into one of the fuselage halves.
Tomorrow I want to modify the control stick so that it is correct, create a forward bulkhead/firewall, fit and shape the lap and shoulder belts, and design and build the forward instrument mountings... and perhaps assemble the engine.
