Hello everyone,
Here's my 1/48 DML Ju 188-E, super-detailed with Eduard PE, resin bulged tires, brake lines and other things from the spares box. I also added a name plate for the base. Send out some comments.

Cool beans! I really like the finish- and the details are nicely done as well. My favorite Junkers- cheers!

Hi Mark!
Sweeeeeeet! That's a fantastic looking camo indeed and one of my favourite bird as well...
Did you built the model lately? I didn't saw a build thread. If I missed it, please show me the link to it!

Very nice model Mark!
I love the paint job!!!! ..
though I would have preferred RLM 75 instead of 02 for the dots ... I am sorry, I just can't go away without a remark
cheers

Thanks for the comments, guys. I appreciate everyone looking in on my build.
I didn't do a build thread for this one, Jean-Luc, I haven't had the time to do it justice as an informational thread. I'll gladly answer any questions anyone has for me.
Steffan, RLM 75 would have been and excellent choice also. I have 2 more Ju 188's in the stash. Hopefully I'll get to those next year. This kit was really a lot of fun!!

Really nice model Mark. I like that alot.
A quick question about the staining on the codes and crosses, was this done with Tamiya smoke?
It's a really nice effect.
Thanks
Howard

Howard,
I just used a thinned mottle color and applied it with a brush. the instructions for the decals said they were "toned down".

Cool, thanks Mark.
I'll certainly be giving that a try sometime soon.

Beautiful 188. I love the look of that plane. I have hesitated to try it because of all that glass. Looks like you are a master of masking.

Taylor,
I did all of the window masking with Bare Metal Foil over about a week. Just a little every day.
