Holy cow!

I went by the LHS on the way to work today, and much to my surprise, they had a 1/48th MiG-17 from Hobby Boss sitting on the front counter, which I immeditely snapped up:



All new tooling, and she looks great in the box!

Looks like they have a Chinese J-5 and a MiG-17PF Fresco D coming soon as well.

If ya'll want, I'll try and whip out an in-box review for it this weekend, but if one of the staff members had this in their sights, then I don't want to step on any toes...

Cool, I'll see If I can get it done in the next few days.

I saw this kit advertised on the cover of Squadron's latest flyer, and I thought, "Hmmm...I need to get me one of those." I'd be interested to hear about what's in the box, as I haven't had any experience with Hobby Boss kits.
