Hello all,
I'm looking to see if anyone knows of any models available depicting the Curtiss F6C-1 for the US Navy or the PW-8 for the AAC? Photo enclosed for the Navy version. It's so ugly that it looks interesting.
Regards

Olimp (http://olimpmodels.com/) makes the F6C-2, which is easy to backdate to an F6C-1 (which was actually the Navy's version of the Curtiss P-1 (while the F6C-2 was the Navy's version of the P-1A)). I reviewed these Curtiss Hawks in Internet Modeler .
And you're wrong. The Curtiss P-1/F6C series of aircraft are some of the best looking aircraft. Ever.

Hey Matt,
Your correct.................something so ugly does kind of grow on you.
1/72 is just a little to "Little" for me............eyes and fingers....
I have a Boeing F4B-4 in my to build stash...........that's the most beautiful of planes in my eye.......but what I'm looking for is a non-metal exterior fighter of the US Navy/AAC in the early 20s...........but it has to be 1/32.
I would REALLY like to find a Boeing F4B-1 which is the fabric version..........but don't find any of those. Appears to be an overlooked period.
I really do appreciate your input.
Regards
Steve
