Hello,
How funny, mr. Ösci states:
Zusätzlich angeregt durch eine Gruppe verrückter Holländer
http://forum.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=103&sid=3ba711349e56538c07a7db4890030f9f
Which means as much as: inspired by a bunch of crazy Dutchmen.... Aha, that's the Groupbuild which I initiated! There's 4 of us doing a Roden Gotha right now (used to be 5, but one stopped after a failed attempt on the fuselage). This Roden Gotha really is a hard kit, it gives me more trouble then Aeroclub's 48 scale FE2b, which I considered my most difficult kit so far.
Cheers, Nico

Hej Lars,
that's a good question! It's not easy to build something with the sleeping baby on your breast (or stomach). With the new family member I have to find some new routines too.
But I have a few days off at X-mas and my parents will help with the kids.
God Jul!

@ Lars
Little progress, but I finished the cockpit and glued the fuselage halves together. If I find some time, I will have a model for the Open.

There are more pictures at
My build

No Stephen, there have to be some russins for the 1/72 scale modellers too.
So far only progress on small details, difficult to photograph and thatswhy not worthy some unsharp pictures. But I will tell you if there are new updates (maybe later this week).
Thanks for looking!

Started to paint the fuselage. It will take a while because I'm still a brushpainter (no space for a airgun).

more...here!
Had some fun letting googgggle translate my building report. Stupid computers

Looking real good Osci!
I had this kit in my stash once, along with the Illya Murromets & Curits Flying Boat, but decided to get rid of them because of all the work.
Great job, you MIGHT make me change my mind!
