Hi folks,
That is, according to me, one of the best kits I have ever built. This one at the end of eighties. Even if the fitting process is not 100%.
Anyway, the Promodeller Helldiver is a BEAST !!! In atlantic colors, it seems "lighter" and more slight.
Cheers !

Wow! That's some great work! You certainly turned that Promodeler kit into a show winner.

Very nice! I'll have to agree as to the quality of the kit- it's a real sweetie. Do I see some extra Eduard PE on this beautiful brute? Also, whose APNS pod did you use? Cheers-

Hi Chuk,
In fact no other photoeched parts instead ones provided with the box.
The APNS pod is a home made part, not so difficult. I think I started from a kind of tank or something similar !

Hello Nuno,
What a fantastic job you did! What colors did you use for the Atlantic Scheme?
C'est formidable!!
Cheers,

A magnificent build, has me looking for a reasonably priced 1/48 Helldiver.

Look for the Accurate Miniatures box. It's the same plastic and was released not all that long ago. The Original Monogram Promodeler box can also be found at swap meets from time to time. Revell Germany also released it. Whichever box you get, it'll be the same plastic.

Nuno,
A very impressive build. Nicely painted in the Atlantic paint scheme. I did my TBM-3 Avenger in those colors, and it sure stands out from the rest of my Pacific Naval aircraft.

I keep on promising myself that I need to add a Helldiver to my stash for a future build, but I still haven't gotten around to it.

I have a pair of these. If you'd like to buy one I could probably part with it. It's the original Pro-Modeller boxing. I think one's even still shrink wrapped.

Fantastic looking "Beast" for sure! I love the Atlantic color scheme on your build and you've certainly put out an amazing airplane. Thank you very much for sharing and congratulations! Take care.
