Hi Holdfast:
Iīve seen your kits in the Gallery from a time ago but I didnīt know who was the builder. This thing of anouncing and linking the images in the forum is great because everybody who doesnīt know you or doesnīt have contact with you through the forums can see your jobs and know their yours.
Great jobs all of them . I like very much the job done to the panel lines. :-)
What thecnique did you use, preshading ?
I think that P47D with the checkertail looks great. Good job with the decals.
Regards and keep on posting images.

:-) Thanks,
Pre-shading is part of the answer, take a look at my article on pre-shading:

Also take a look at my Spitfire Mk I and Corsair F4U-1 in progress pics on the Rivet Review Board :-) I'm trying to develope a method that will allow pre-shading to show through the darker camo colours. Let me know what you think :-)
