Hello!
I would like to get one of Hasegawa's 1/48 F-16s (single seater).
Silly question... how are these kits? And what about the cockpit? Do I need to get some replacement?
And what about the versions I can find? Is there an Italian one too? Is any conversion necessary to build the aggressor version?
What are your opinions about them?
And what are the differences comparing with the Tamiya one?
Thanks!

Personally I think Tamiya F-16 Block 50 and Block25/32 kits are the best for F-16. You get more weapons and ordinance with them. Easier to assemble to me. You can upgrade to your hearts desire if you want. But OOB box they are great. You can mix and match from those two kits to get other blocks. Hyperscale has a great article on how to mix and match to get other variations Just look on Airplane reviews for F-16 Tamiya. Good luck whichever you choose,Andy

the Hasegawa F-16s are certainly buildable, but I have to agree the Tamiya ones are better. Hasegawa offers a wider range of variants though (like most of them) - including the aggressors.
not sure about the italian f-16s per-se, but they do have boxings of other european f-16s, which i imagine are similar.
the price of the hasegawa f-16s is starting to get a little high for what you get though.
the hasegawa cockpit is ok but not great. if you put in a resin seat, you almost don't need to upgrade the rest, though a photo etch HUD would be good too. the wheel wells are a little bare.

Thanks!
Then I'll go for the Tamiya one, the price is quite similar!
