Just had a look at the Review. The molding of the engine seems not to be as crisp as in the SE5a's.
Other than that, it looks beautiful.

I was thinking of offering it to someone who had the time but was finished with their build.

Probably just my photography. The engine is totally different mold than the SE 5a. Its the direct drive 150 -180hp. Lots of differences.

32 bug, Terri?
Yeah, right. I am a 1/48th builder also. But I prefer 32nd.
Box art is great. And I love the SPAD VII. But can I get another box in the closet? Now that I think about it, it doesn't really matter. I 'm gonna get one.

Forget the closet! Is there enough shelf space to display it when built?

My wonderful wife of 25 years and 9 days is very supportive. She insisted on getting a curio to display my builds. It filled up quickly. (Mostly 1/48th). We can probably squeeze a few more shelves in there though. Now she is wanting to get yet another curio for my future builds. Bigger for 32nd scale, none the less. At least the cats and dust can't reach them in there.
BTW, the cat on my profile picture is Ding-a-ling, and she sits like that on a daily basis. I guess when you have a beautiful tail, you keep it clean.

Claudio and Larsa,
I will probably do the obvious #2! Guynemer is a popular subject after all. If rules permitted I would make my own Lafayette Seminole Decal and do SPAD VII S 156 with Capt. Georges Thenaults' butterfly and coup marks in red reminiscent of Lufberry.
Larsa, I am looking forward to your build also! Good Luck!!
