Scale Model World 2008, the biggest model show in the UK took place at Telford International Centre over the weekend of 15/16th November. Thunderbolts were well represented and many of them can be seen in this photo feature.
A show report covering the whole aircraft genre is on its way.

Wow the work on some of them, heck all of the are outstanding. I especially like the the ones with the cowlings off showing that big beast of an engine. Lots of hours on those and it shows.
Thanks Nige for posting them looked like anoutstanding show. Did you put any of yours in the ring?

Was one of those Bolts a 1/24 scale or bigger because in on of the pics you can see a mans hands and comparing to the size it really looked monsterous?

Hi Paul.
Yes, it really was a good show. Infact, its still going on as I write, but Im off on tour today so cant attend.
An unexpected day off led to me being able to attend, so I didnt get chance to display any T'bolts or enter the comp.
Some of the P-47's in the photos are indeed 1:24th scale from VFS. The Razorback is a prototype due for release next year.
