What was the runway made out of at R.A.F. airfields. I know some where just grass.

My Mosquito tells me it wants to be in a diorama. The tail wheel will be level in the air with the plane (like taking off) and the plane will be roaring down the runway. At night of course (its a night-intruder)

And also, did the runway have lights on the side at night?

it all depends on the airfied where the mozzy was based, does it tell you in the kits instructions?
