I am armor modeler who is taking a break from his beloved Sherman building. I finally secured the Monogram 1/48 B-24J. She is in good shape. My one challenge in putting aircraft together has been the cemeting of the two fuselage together without creating a noticeable seam. I recall FSM ran an article recommending ways to avoid this tragic event. Can I ask if anyone can either provide me the information on how best to attain this end or direct me to the specific FSM article.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
thanks

I would recomend trying here at. www.swannysmodels.com. In his build logs he did a B-24J. Also in tools and tips ther is a article on seam repairs. Lots of good info on planes and technigues. Hope this helps. . Forgot about this one. www.hawkeyeshobbies.com. Go to Hawkeyes squak box, then scroll down to tips and technigues. Great article on fixing seams.

Carl- it is a LHS in New Jersey. F&M Hobbies. They were the only ones that had it. Their phone number is : 973.361.0042. It cost $36.99 for the kit and $15 for S/H.
