Morane Saulnier MS 406Posted: Friday, December 12, 2008 - 08:56 PM UTC
Here's a fine build article of AZmodel's 1/48 scale Morane Saulnier MS 406 by Andrew Beard (CMOT70). Like Andrew wrote: you can't go past those yellow and red markings can you?

Nice masking trick, but - oh the horror of misaligning. This is the reason why I seldom show more than one side of my planes here. Symmetry is not always easy to find, but you made i great recovery Andrew. Nice finish, and beautiful colours.

Thanks for the posative comments.
Actually i have to admit that i was only expecting it to be a photo feature! Jean-Luc went the extra yard and compiled my build blog notes into a full feature, thanks Jean-Luc. Next time just let me know, and i'll do the compiling part myself and send it! I'm sure you're busy enough as it is.

Andrew:
It turned out great. Beautiful markings, and the paint work is wonderful.

Hi all,
Andrew, I was about to publish the article as a photo feature but I wanted to include some informations about the model. So I read the original thread again and I realized that the text would make a nice build feature without too much additional work... I think the result was worth the extra effort!
What!!!
By the way, in France, we say about "Vichy" aircraft that they are wearing pyjamas.
