Seasons greetings to everyone!
You have to admit that it is extra fun to make ornaments for the holidays when you're a modeller! This year, I was inspired by the FE-Resin Saab J 29F Tunnan. This tiny model (of my favorite aircraft) was perfect for my project!
I wanted to build a "barrel" from southern Sweden (the 10th wing of the Swedish Airforce). Except for the roundels, the decals are "home made". The excersice markings were painted by hand. Since the view will be somewhat obscured in the globe, it doesn't pay off to be too picky about detals etc.
Unfortunately, something must have happened with the 1/144 golden shield of the F10 wing that I worked so hard with... I didn't notice this mishap before attaching the dome....
The calm before the (snow)storm?
- "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..."
Wishing you all a happy 2009 from snowy Sweden!
Cheers! // PolarBear
