Hi again
don't know how to do a hot link but if you go here
http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?PageID=77
there is a fun colour test to do. Only takes a few minutes.
I think I did okay(8) for my age(51) but I am still trying to uncross my eyes!
Enjoy
Steve
I can tell the difference between RLM70 and RLM 71, even in White Ensigns Colourcoats!

Hi there
An interesting test - and you could knock me down with a feather! It says I have perfect colour vision!
I'll tell them at work if anyone ever moans about about how I've graded video pictures!
All the best
Rowan

Oh, I've failed enough of those tests to be "certified" as color blind. Actually gray, green, brown color blind. Every time I post a photo of one of my models on the site, I hope you guys see what I see or at least close.
P.S. Maybe that's why I build so many NMF models ?

I actually didn't score that bad, but the nice part is it did show me the parts of the color spectrum I'm losing it in.
With practice I might do better....

Now I understand the controversy about Braunviolett - some see it greenish, some brown...
I had a result of 26, that is the upper portion. I won't do it again, I can't help seeing rainbows now

Something interesting for the "color police" to do.
I'd be interested in their score.

Well paint colour is a can of worms isn't it.
Some people would have you believe that, particularly in German factories, technicians were chucking buckets of pigments into vats and yelling "that looks like 82 to me" as if the nation that has produced many of the worlds great chemists was not using more scientific means of determining what colours they were producing!
I do concede that a lack of materials may have led to some compromises but I don't think that German war production (under Speer) was anywhere near as chaotic as some would have you believe.
Anyway I'm going to try that test again now, so maybe unable to see my key board for a while!
Cheers

Well I scored 24 which I didn't think was too bad. my worse area was in the greens though
so there's no hope for green camo for me.
Off to lay down now my eyes hurt
