Are you sick of painting the cockpit and everything inside? Here's what you do: Blur out the glass window so partially or no interior will be seen. Of course, this will affect the design of the model. Or, you could paint the inside of the glass window with clear coats except light colors to hide the inside partially. Smoke will be a good clear coat. Of course, if you're doing this, you must have a closed canopy

When I have needed to finish a kit very quickly, I have backpainted canopies in black or dark grey, but I generally don't do this as the cockpit is my favorite part of the airplane.
