To all my old friends on here, and those that I don't know (yet) - I'm back!!!
My eyesight has improved again (well stabilised anyway and new specs for the 3rd time in a year) so I'm back modelling with a vengeance! The old hand to eye co-ordination still has to catch up so the paintbrush isn't as neat as it used to be but the enjoyment is back too....
Revell 1/48 Cat being made as a Brit bird
1/32 Special Hobby Airacobra 1 on order
And a tracky thing towing a gun...........

Thanks Grumpy
Just goes to show that, even though my old love for photography has replaced modelling over the last couple of years to the extent that I've had some work published; you never completely let go of the desire to glue and paint plastic.
It'll be some time before I'm ready to show my models online and put them up for critique, but the enjoyment is back and they're good enough that I no longer feel like smacking the finished product with a large hammer!!!

Hai,
Welcome back and happy modellin during 2009
Photography you say?!
I am experimenting with some photography (and photoshop) as well trying to combine pfoto's of models with backgrounds.
It is harder than it looks to make a realistic combination
