brush painting green?

hi i brush paint sometimes ok sometimes not so good , when i use ua02 green it does not do so good is this the same with most greens, also i have got me a tamiya flat size 5 brush to use is it a good brush up to now i have been using prolene+ whith varied results . thanks eamonn

Hi there. Certainly a nice camel hair brush for broad areas is good to have in your stash. Also some finer red sable brushes are nice to have. Here in the US they can run 5 to 7 dollars but if taken care of are well worth it.

Try using different kinds of paint as well. I have found that Tamiya paints don't brush quite as easily as say the Model Master Acryl line or Polly Scale line of acrylic paints. You can thin with just a little bit of water as well making life that much easier. Hope this helps. Russell

You can even add a little dish soap to help in leveling the paint out and giving it a smoother glide over the surface .
