....if I recall this build was a class winner at the Medway Show. I was unaware of the story behind the model- a moving and eloquent tribute.. well done !

Your almost right Neil, one of my P-47's did win the 1:48th class at Medway, but it was "Ugly Duckling" not this one.
I thought I had told you the story behind the build when we were talking at the show?,,oh well, you know now I was probably still in "keep it secret mode"
