The new Roden Engines is looking real interesting to me. Over at the aerodrome the debate has been interesting read. The Roden engine comes with some photoetched parts and I’m curious what they look like. I hope Roden have got some got folks around the etching process. I don’t want to see those hard and unusable stuff Trumpeter throws in there’s kit. Hopefully it’s Eduard or parts in my dreams.
Why is this you may think? I was reading Stephen's always interesting “Spruce and Linen” Thread on what coming next year (Hey we are there in a few day my friends). For me I’m deeply interested in Hugh´s work on the 1/24 BE 2. I have just learned that Darwin’s Theory of evolution includes me too, so why not take the next step, it’s obvious “Lets scratchbuild “ I bird and see what It ending up looking like .Ricardo “ Legendaboy´s work on the Hansa Brandenburg is there too, so getting help and wisdom can’t be a problem.
So what I’m I waiting for, as usually its Roden again. The scale is 32 so I do not want to end up halfway thru something just to be learned that Roden will release just that plane.
Here I can see some projects including Roden's Engines.
Hoping for a good 2009 and wishes you all folks a Happy new year

It is almost a shame to cover up such great details. Then again pulling a motor out for a maintenance scene lets you do all you want with the great work you have done exposed.
