Although working on it for awhile, we're finally live with the "new" Internet Modeler. We started using a new software system and hope it will not only improve how people access and use IM, but also how we can maintain/update it behind the scenes.
Look it over, read the Editorial, and let us know what you think.

Hi Matt
it is informative as ever!
Maybe I am just not used to it but I do not like the yellow color.
all the best
Steffen

Cheers,
Oh yeah, now I got it working. I only got the December issue showing up (it probably had the page still in the cache or something). Hitting the refresh button did the trick.
I second Steffen, great stuff as always. I have my reservations about the yellow color as well, but I guess that could just be a cultural shock after so many years with the blue theme.
Noticed you now have a kind of a directory path type navigation bar, a really nice addition.
Browsing through the new issue, I noticed some inconsistencies in the behaviour of photos in the articles. Some open in the same browser tab (Revell MiG-21 PF), some in a new one (Knoll KN-1 Biplane). Some have only the thumbnails (Pegasus 1/72 Porsche P-245-010). But I guess since it's a brand new issue, it might be still "in the works" or something. Not a big deal at all though, since I tend to open all pics to a new tab.
keep up the great work!

Hi Matt
Internet Modeler was the site that first drew me into modelling on-line and it's still one of my favourites - I love its broad coverage of multiple genres. I actually don't mind the yellow - the only thing I wonder is whether the page could use more of the screen width? At the moment it's a bit of a narrow column with blank white space at the right (I'm running at 1152 x 864 px under Firefox).
All the best
Rowan

Yup, Yellow is fine, but will there be the archives? I didn't see and method for choosing to look at back issues. When I clicked on Features:aviation, I got current Jan 2009 articles and some from Sept 1998. Will the rest be put back up?
Thanks, Matt
Thanks, Matt

Yes, as the Editorial stated, everything will be moved into the new system. It will just take time.
Read the Editorial as it sorts it all out.
