this kit looks nice but is not really "/news" - the "new" one out is their Avenger / Tarpon in Brit / Kiwi markings.
I am still trying to work out if the new kit has the correct decals for the version they supply in the box...all suggestions welcome!
thanks,

It looks like a winner to me.

Nothing like digging up an old post. Only three years old. I just received the kit. The box is huge. The parts are all clean and well detailed, with no flash. The engine in particular is very impressive. The instructions are also clearer and easier to follow, aside from the fact that the middle section is on a separate sheet. I built the AM kit and could not get the turret to go together. It was a very nice kit, but there was significantly more cleanup of parts than this kit will require. It was lost in action, when the boys played football in the house. I needed a replacement and my purchase was heavily influenced by this review.
Great nations do not fall because of external aggression; they first erode and decay inwardly, so that, like rotten fruit, they fall of themselves. The strength of a country is the sum total of the moral strength of the individuals in that country.
