I'm interested in assembling an HE-111. I know there is an old Revell kit, but I am coming back to aircraft after a long hiatus and would like to know what kits are out there, and what AM upgrades are recommended. I don't necessarily need Moskit exhausts, LOL, but we're talking correct here.

The only company that i know of is Monogram. Eduard made some PE sets. Dont know if there still available or not. Just go .HE-111 1/48th scale Theres a bunch of build logs on there. Aircraft resource center has a good build.

Sorry about that. Just Google HE-111 1/48th scale. Or Yahoo, whichever you use.

In 1/48 you're limited to the Monogram/Revell kit (which isn't a bad thing). The original release was an He 111H-4/H-5, but the Promodeler release was an He 111H-22 (the version with the powered top turret).
There's probably a ton of stuff out there for the kit. I've got the Aires cockpit which is very nice. I wouldn't bother with the True Details cockpit, IMHO it's NO improvement over the kit cockpit.

Hi Bill i've got the He-111 h4/h5 kit Andy spoke of from Monogram but i'm hesitant to make a start on it until i can get some AM sets to update some of the detail and the last time i built the kit was 10 years ago and i haven't modelled any aircraft since coz i got into making AFV's
