For my latest project (1/32 Hasegawa BF109 G6) I ordered some RB Productions fabric belts. If you haven't heard of these, I highly suggest you look them up. They are stunning. For a little over 3 euro (and very reasonable shipping) you get a set of PE buckles and a couple of laser cut coloured paper sheets. Assembly is tricky - because they are assembled like real belts - but the result is perfect. You end up with a set of real scale belts, not something standing in for belts. The only criticism I can think of is the lack of stitching detail.

They make two types of Luftwaffe belts as well as IJN and USAAF belts.

Here is a pic from the website:

I bought some of these (early war Luftwaffe) for my Ju 88. The quality is amazing. I'll get extra sets for my Bf 110. The etch work is beautiful.

One set per pack but I believe that there is a 20% (?) discount at the mo.

Steve, do read the instructions and study the pictures carefully. They are very lifelike so look complicated but taking your time pays dividends. I used "Pritstick" applied with a tooth pick, works great.
