This one I did about 6 years ago now . It was painted by hand , didn't have an airbrush at the time . The white on the tail planes was done by a rattle can . It's still one of my favroites in the display case .
It's starting to show it's age now . The white is nolonger white !

It's still one of my favroites in the display case .
It would be one of my favorites, too !!
The rigging looks super, and I can't believe that it's brush painted...it looks great.
Cheers,
Mike

Not a strange thing it's one of your favourites in the display case. In my opinion it's one of the most beautifull aicraft from WW1. Finished nicely in this case.

Thanks MJ , I was using oil paints at the time which are far better for brush painting also helps to add a drop or two of dish soap to level the paint out .
Nico , man it's been awhile since I heard from you . You are correct it is the worlds sexiest aircraft !
Johannes , thank you for the kind words , just wait and see what will be done with all the other ones in the stash !

Your Pfalz looks very good - slightly sinister in the mostly black colour, which highlights the lines very nicely.
You said you were using oil paints at the time you did this build. Do you mean oils for everything, or just the woodgrain?
I still use a brush for painting (no air-brush yet) and I use Games workshop acrylics. The result is very good, but it covers the detail a bit.

Thanks Richard , I used Testors Models Master oil paints for the whole build . I wasn't using acrylics at the time and still haven't used artist oils yet . I still paint all of my cockpits by hand , and only use the airbrush of the colour scheme .
