What is everyone going to be building this year? My next projects are:
1/32 F15C for the 318th FIS
1/32 F4D for the 148 FIG
1/32 F16 and A7 for the Ohio Air Guard
1/32 F16 for the Wisconsin Air Guard

Oh, I've realized that I only build for the campaigns here. The following is planned.

1:48 Tamiya Fw 190 A-3 (Started, and moving slowly - Butcher bird)
1:48 Tamiya P 47 D Thunderbolt (Started and moving like mad - Cave Tonitrum)
1:48 Italeri Fiat CR-42 (Not even purchased - Need for speed)
1:48 Academy P-35 Seversky (Hoping for a NMF-campaign in fall)

And of course the usual suspect - any Bf 109 in 1:48. Maybe Wicks 109 E from BoB.

It will be a busy year, and a personal best if i make half of it.

Since I've got a fairly large stash, choosing my next project has always been a frustrating thing for me. I've never been able to build two at one time.

Classic Airframes Curtiss SBC-4 underway right now
SuperModel Savoia Marchetti S.M. 81 for the Stripes in the Sky campaign (April)
CMB Sikorsky S-38 for the seaplane campaign (November)

Beyond that, I have 3 DC-3 kits in 1/48, 1/72 and 1/144 I'd like to have a go at. Maybe try my hand at forced perspective photography.

@Mike those are big old birds
@Tony at the rate you moving you better plan some more
@Steve now than SM-81 we gotta see

In no particular order,

2 x 1:144 Short SC-1, Aluminum Campaign
1/72 Trumpeter Wyvern, Airedale Navy Campaign
1/72 Revell SE5a, Nightfighter campaign
1/72 Roden Fokker D7, Stripe campaign
1/72 Smer Potex 540 for La Marseillaise
1/72 Hobbyboss 190D-9 for butcher bird (started)
1/48 Smer MC-72 for Need for speed Campaign (started)
1/72 Hasegawa Tiger i for Big Cats (started)
1/72 P-39 for paparazzi (almost finished)
A seaplane and an 88mm field TBD.

I did get 10 finished last year though, as I'm still very much finding
my feet I feel it is best to finish as many as I can practise all the
stages of building and painting. May not be perfect but better than
in bits in their boxes.

That and knocking down half the house to extend the kitchen,
and garage and attic so that might put a kibosh on production.

A rafale
A typhoon
A seahawk

All in 1/48 and the rafale and the Seahawk are related to Aeroscale campaigns which makes that I just have to finish these.

Then I hope to finalise a Hasegawa 1/48 Longbow apache for which I just can't get my hands on a set of decals

I've decided not to make a list of what I'll build as by the time 31st Dec 2009 arrives what is built will be nothing like the list, with three exceptions-

1) 1/72 Fw-190V-18 for Butcher bird campaign
2) 1/48 P-47D for Cave Tonitrum campaign
3) 1/48 Fairey Flycatcher for Airedale Navy campaign

Other than those it will mainly be 1/144 with the odd brille scale or 1/144 armour subject finding it's way in.

Thought I'd drag this up and see how I done.

1/72 Revell SE5a, Nightfighter campaign Tamiya 109e nightfighter conversion DONE
1/72 Roden Fokker D7, Stripe campaign, Revell SE5a instead DONE
1/72 Smer Potex 540 for La Marseillaise (couldn't get one) Tamiya 1/48 D.520 instead DONE
1/72 Hobbyboss 190D-9 for butcher bird DONE
1/48 Smer MC-72 for Need for speed Campaign DONE
1/72 Hasegawa Tiger i for Big Cats DONE
1/72 P-39 for paparazzi DONE
88mm gun DONE.
skdfz 7 DONE
1/72 Airfix P51B Hunhunter DONE
Eduard Fokker Dr.1 will be done by New Year
as will Cobby's training Camel

A seaplane Airfix sunderland started.
2 x 1:144 Short SC-1, Aluminum Campaign, not finished
1/72 Trumpeter Wyvern, Airedale Navy Campaign, not finsihed
P-51 old crow stalled
MG K-3 stalled

So around one a month. Considering the work on the house and general craziness of real life thats not
too bad. New year will have to finish the wyvern and get going again on old crow.

Got some crackers in the stash. The Revell Lamc, AccMin P51 and Avenger. Some Roden WW1 1/72 fighters with PART PE.
Tamiya Mini to be done as Paddy Hopkirk's. Some armour. Plenty to keep me going. 2010 will be a fun year.

As freewheelin franklin put it plastic will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no plastic.
