Hi Guys,
I was down at MK model this today and took a few pics of the wingy side of life. By far the most models there, just to many to photograph but here's a selection: Excuse the pics, David Baily I'm not and the lighting in the hall wasn't too good either.
These however I thought were class

Thank you for the great photos of the model show. I have thought that I am a pretty good model builder but whenever you see others work, it seems you often see the flaws in your own. It is great fun looking at others work however.
I wish that I had a club in this area of the U.S. which could put on such a show. I was involved in the 1991 show of the French Broad Modelers, in Asheville, North Carolina. That was a regional show and great fun even if you didn't place. At that time I wasn't even airbrushing but it was great to go to the show and see all the vendors and entries!
Again, thank you for the photos. Russell

Hi Russel,
Your welcome. There was a hugh range of aircraft there, way to many to photograph and I had to ditch about half the pics which just didn't come out right.
Glad you enjoyed the pics.

There's a rather familiar looking B-17 in the corner of one of those pics

Hi kenneth,
then we may have met in passing so to speak. Amazing range of aircraft, too many to photograph. Unfortunately quite a few of the pics I took didn't come out, but hopefully there is enough to give folks a flavour of the show.

Hey Al,
From what I've seen of the small number of photos you've posted, the numbers of displays at Milton Keynes looks enormous.
Makes our local IPMS show look weak.
Any idea how many entries ??
Cheers

I agree
Its a good show Milton Keynes and probably the biggest show in the UK apart from the Nationals.
Always a good day out and I got a silver medal for one of my Thunderbolts to round the day off nicely.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. I cant really decide which was the oddest. A Jap Hellcat, a Domonican Fort or Biggles riding the J 35 Dragon
By the way, congrats to the silver Nigel. The more medals you have, the more I trust your tips

I missed Biggles on the dragon, but for me the "what if" of the show was an FW190 eggplane in AA colours.
