Hi
IŽll start my project about an USAF A-1J Skyraider in the Vietnam War.I bought the 1/48 Tamiya A-1J Skyraider.
Because I read about difference between A-1H and A-1J
Could somebody tell me which are the external differences between both variants ? and Have the cockpit identical in both variants ?
Thank you !

I really don't think, externally there's any major differences between an H and a J models of the A-1. The A-1J had some internal restructuring in the wing and it used a different variant of the R-3350 engine (R-3350-26-WB in the J versus R-3350-26-WA in the H).

Been thumbing through the D&S on Skyraider while I work on an OLD Airfix kit. Seems that the two flavors were close enough in looks that several molders have used the same tools and just changed out the decals.

Hi Mark

Thank you !
