A bit confused about the landing gear angle on my models, looking at my zero they look rather odd as they are placed straight up, my raiden jack has them canted outwards a bit as seen on some real WW2 prop planes.Problem is I cannot find a pic taken dead center of a raiden jack , I assume I seek out vintage photos for each plane?

Well here's the Zero, I know I have a Raiden around here somewhere still looking. I think you'll find they both have a "straight legged" landing gear arrangement.
Ahh, here's the Raiden
Not the "centerline" shots you wanted, but I think they are close enough to tell the gear is not angled out?

they do not look angled out like some other warbirds, guess research is the key here.I use to live near Chino about 20 years ago..figures I get an obsession with raiden jacks and the only one left in the world is where I moved from this is my 2nd raiden jack build, going pretty well,I will do one more to improve my skills, at $12.00 apiece not too much to get upset about
