Does anyone know of a conversion kit that would let me build the two place Spits currently roaming the airspace of Southern England?

Brigade Models do a conversion set in 1:48th.

That kit would allow you to make the 'official' version. Most of the airshow aircraft use a second standard spitfire canopy on the second cockpit. See the link below to Caroline Graces ML407 website
